milo z, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:32 (eighteen years ago)

oh wait the Beavis and Butthead movie was good - I pick that

Shakey Mo Collier, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:32 (eighteen years ago)

DHWAV is so great, I just wish it could have had alan rickman too

TOMBOT, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:33 (eighteen years ago)

He's been good to great in: Die Hard, Mortal Thoughts, Nobody's Fool, Pulp Fiction, The Sixth Sense and Sin City. A couple of those are shit movies though.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:40 (eighteen years ago)

Bruce also starred in Sunset (which sucks, but he rides a horse and smirks at James Garner!) and Blind Date (which I've never seen, but co-stars John Larroquette).

da croupier, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:49 (eighteen years ago)

12 monkeys

ghost rider, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:49 (eighteen years ago)

This poll is the best because seriously like all but maybe four of these are really the same role, only with different names.

nickalicious, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:50 (eighteen years ago)

As I much as I like the movies where he's got a shaved head, I'm gonna rent The Perfect Stranger because it's been awhile since I've seen a crappy hairpiece flick from him.

da croupier, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:51 (eighteen years ago)

This poll is the best because seriously like all but maybe four of these are really the same role, only with different names.

A Harrison Ford poll may be utmost and key.

da croupier, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:51 (eighteen years ago)

Jesus Christ I can't tell if today is the best or worst day in ilx history. PRobably best.

nickalicious, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:53 (eighteen years ago)

Someone post a picture of a bald-headed smirk. That'll take of that.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Thursday, 14 June 2007 19:58 (eighteen years ago)

"Hudson Hawk" was moved to the top of your Queue.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:24 (eighteen years ago)

dude I love Bruce Willis probably more than anyone here, but you are seriously going to regret that one.

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:29 (eighteen years ago)

12 monkeys is truly great

elmo argonaut, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:30 (eighteen years ago)

^^^ 8080

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:31 (eighteen years ago)

He smiles way more in 12 Monkeys than in any other movie he's been in, I think.

nickalicious, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:31 (eighteen years ago)

hudson hawk proves that mr. willis was drinking cappuccino before it became the yuppie drink of the 90s

elmo argonaut, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:31 (eighteen years ago)

He smiles a lot in Armageddon, as soon as he realies that Ben Affleck's dick intends Liv Tyler no harm.

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:34 (eighteen years ago)

Armageddon is like a big white blot on my mind punctured by Peter Stormare as an insane Russian and Steve Buscemi humping a nuke. As far as I am concerned Bruce Willis never lowered himself to these depths. I am saying this as a person who has watched Color of Night TWO times.

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:35 (eighteen years ago)

Armageddon is not so bad, really. I even like the big Aerosmith power ballad.

milo z, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:38 (eighteen years ago)

He is more versatile than given cred for, ie when playing subdued burnouts.

Dr Morbius, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:38 (eighteen years ago)

"Hudson Hawk" was moved to the top of your Queue.

Dan Perry will watch it.

that'd be awesome if dan could come over brian's house!

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:39 (eighteen years ago)

It would!

HI DERE, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

I'm repping 5th Element.

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:40 (eighteen years ago)

HOLY SHIT, 1:13 in, homage to Robert Frank

milo z, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:41 (eighteen years ago)

Sandra Bernhard is a villain in Hudson Hawk, so it's better than Armageddon.

Dr Morbius, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:42 (eighteen years ago)

You, sir, are incorrect. Hudson Hawk is better than Armageddon because it has +1 Danny Aiello and -1 Ben Affleck

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:44 (eighteen years ago)

jessie, morbs, those BOTH sound like valid reasons.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:45 (eighteen years ago)

I dunno there's this part where she like fucks his ear with her tongue and honestly it's pretty gross.

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:46 (eighteen years ago)

Wait, is the new die hard called "Live Free or Die Hard"????

or am I an idiot?

G00blar, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:46 (eighteen years ago)

NO IT IS. LIKE SOME HORRIBLE WONDERFUL DREAM, A MOVIE HAS FINALLY BE MADE THAT IS A PLAY ON THE MOTTO OF THE GREAT STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:47 (eighteen years ago)

He is more versatile than given cred for, ie when playing subdued burnouts.

In 16 Blocks he got to play bald smirking hardman AND subdued burnout in the same character (this was a decent - if predictable - movie).

nickalicious, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:47 (eighteen years ago)

OH hey guys I dunno if you have seen this but it's pretty worthwhile:

jessie monster, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:49 (eighteen years ago)

i think you are all forgetting that david caruso plays a mute henchman named KIT KAT in hudson hawk

elmo argonaut, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:49 (eighteen years ago)

hahahahaha it's called Die Hard 4.0 in the UK

BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY THINK THE AMERICAN TITLE'S SUCCESS DEPENDS UPON PEOPLE GETTING THE NEW HAMPSHIRE REFERENCE

G00blar, Thursday, 14 June 2007 20:50 (eighteen years ago)

WAIT DAVID CARUSO IS IN HUDSON HAWK?

i will not regret this at ALL, guys

"Be cool, be like David Caruso in Jade."

The Macallan 18 Year, Thursday, 14 June 2007 22:53 (eighteen years ago)

def. need a caruso poll if we haven't fatigued this meme yet

The Macallan 18 Year, Thursday, 14 June 2007 22:54 (eighteen years ago)

I like the scene in 12 Monkeys where he's feelin' the Louis Armstrong track in the car. They didn't have that clip on youtube though. :(

eleven years pass...

so did anyone see this?

http://www.vulture.com/2018/07/the-10-best-burns-from-comedy-centrals-bruce-willis-roast.html

a Mets fan who gave up on everything in the mid '80s (Dr Morbius), Monday, 30 July 2018 20:09 (seven years ago)

one month passes...

The Willis roast was pretty bad, and I'm generally a fan of these. Jeff Ross was good, but everyone else was either off their game or shouldn't have been doing this in the first place. Kevin Pollack continues to suck, though at the very least his tired Walken routine inspired one of Ross' more devastating zings.
