Ananova: Classic Or Dud?

It was decided in the pub last night that Ananova is the best website in the world, so it must be classic, but it is also warping a generation's news values with its every-story-gets-three-paras methods, so it must be dud too! Which is it to be???

Re: evry story getting three paras warping news values.

Teletext (gleefully luddite retro forerunner to the internet) works much the same way. According to a girl I knew once who wrote news articles for Ceefax, not only do rigid para structures need to be kept to but also number of words/ characters, as the templates they use are ultra rigid.

Knowing this, teletext news assumes a haiku like aspect.
