Actually I found quite a few interesting but I had nothing interesting to contribute (not that that usually stops me).

A time of quiet reflection on ILX...nothing wrong with that.

Time for a MO-MENT of reflection, as my bus puts it.

Well it's a personal taste thing, I took a lengthy break, and now it's kinda hard to work up the enthusiasm to dive back in.

I have so much work right now and so little motivation. It's not a good combination.

i've been googling for veronica mars gossip mostly. sadly ilx didn't have much to offer. i read the plot of s2 until i list interest (at about ep 15, i think) but doubt that this will be the case when i actually watch it.

Matt otm, was thinking that there were no interesting threads this morning but then assumed it was just me. There aren't even any threads about anything.

I always feel slightly lazy when I think this as I should start something interesting instead of just complaining. But then I'm just too lazy.

I was receiving mandatory Vista training at work the last two days. Will be back later in the week

It's 11 and I've only just got to work. My boss is in Tanzania and my supervisor is out sick so there really isn't even any reason for me to be at work. I should have stayed home.

My boss is still on vacation and my co-worker is out. This would be prime not come to work time. Unfortunately I have a lot of stuff to do. SUCKAGE!

I'm vaguely here.

I seem to have lost the ability to not really say anything in an affable manner on as many threads as possible. Oh well, I am planning my escape from the world of work back to academia. I don't think my request to reduce my hours by a third will go down too well, too bad.

I'm still here, just either really busy with work or away from my computer for long periods of time. Also, I'm not particularly interested in reading any of the threads right now.

Lake Tahoe... Incline Village, Nevada. Never been to Idaho. It looked interesting when I flew over it two weeks ago, though.

Interesting meaning "a deserty hellhole riddled with uncontrollable noxious weeds and huge fields of cooled lava that are otherworldly igneous hells"? OR did you actually fly over the pretty parts w/forests, canyons, rivers, waterfalls, etc.?

OMG, Kerm - I remember seeing that (or landscape very similar) when I flew from Upstate NY to PDX - I have a drawing of it in my sketchbook. FLying over the continental divide is great.

After I got off the plane, I told my Oregon-native roommate that I wanted to check out Idaho and got the "deserty hellhole... noxious weeds... igneous hells" response. That's a lot of hellishness. Hell's Canyon is on the way, too. Sounds like fun to me.
