Here's the pitch: Elf meets Surviving Christmas

A friend of mine worked on this movie, she says it sucks balls.

I couldn't even type "How could this movie suck balls??????" with a straight face.

I've gotten into the habit of watching movie trailers at work with the sound off, and I kind of like it: I get an idea of what it's going to be like, without hearing the whole plot explained or have a bunch of the jokes spoiled for me early. This one was fun to watch, "Kevin Spacey? wtf!" It looks dumb but VV + Wedding Crashers director means it could funnier/dirtier than it has a right to be.

That's the thing that's killing me! This movie looks like a total train wreck that might secretly be hysterically funny.

An acquaintance of mine is a low-ranking freelance movie reviewer for the Ft. Worth Star Telegram. He calls this gig his "movie janitor" job. I'm betting $20 that he is assigned to review this thing.

Haha for a while I was pulling a lot of "movie janitor" duty at the City Paper, and I would've been thrilled to get a movie like this instead of The Santa Clause 3.
