my boss will be there for the service on monday. he's already told me a bunch of great butch stories (butch slept in his van, he and butch got arrested together, they played onstage togheter, etc.). i'm looking forward to hearing the stories about the service. butch had told him that he wanted a big party when he died, so i'm sure it'll go off, especially with my boss there.

One of my closest lives right by Harvard and Comm and used to see Butch daily. A couple of weeks ago they were talking and he told her how sad he was because he'd just bought a scooter but wasn't allowed to take it out out of the dealership because he wasn't insured. Well, he must have got insurance because they saw him zipping around Allston later that week. She said it made her so happy because she could tell how excited he was to be able to buy that scooter. So sad! I think a big party for the service is definitely the way to go. We're thinking about going. I'll report back if we do make it.
