ILX even tho last night i decided to "let go" for the 57th time

it's 8:27 here. i took some aspirin for my headache, "watched" some morning show on whatever channel i left on when i fell asleep, looked at the la times.

I'm waiting for the next phase of testing to be imported. Until then, I got squat to do except smurf the webbernuts.

Spent far too long in the pub at lunchtime. Listened to dodgy hardcore music. ILX. I only half an hour to go woo!

Refreshed a Tour de France web page trying to guess, each time, how much of a lead B. Wiggins has.

I'm at home with the kids, but I took a nap while they watched tv. Now they are still watching tv - and here I am at my computer.

What's sort of scary is that my life outside of work now is packed with important things that desperately need doing, but I am still duty-bound to appear at work and do nothing all day every day for the sake of getting paid.

Yeah, I can't imagine a worse place to get high than in an office with nothing to do and nowhere to go anyway.

Everyone in my old job had monitor mirrors apparently designed for the purpose.

The rearview mirror is a common computer accessory in every state office I've temped at in these last two years. I think people are more suspicious if you DON'T have one.

I rolled around on my bed & cried & walked my dog & watched The Bourne Identity and checked my bank account way too many times for no reason.

i avoided selling shoes as much as possible; friended ned on facebook and chatted; talked to another friend on facebook (so much for my facebook hate); paid my membership to an author forum and also paid the fees for my friend in germany, who's birthday is tomorrow, and who i met on said forum; also fucked around with camera whilst customers were absent and took photos. hope i'm having a good hair day.

No, I'm an athiest and she's agnostic, so we're pretty much coming from similar places. It all started with a segment where some bishop started advocating the view that Hell is a manmade concept, and how his congregration largely left him, and so on. My girlfriend misunderstood part of the segment to say that the bishop also didn't believe in the Bible, and then we got into an argument on whether or not believing in the Bible is essential to being a Christian.
