Foster starts in Neil Jordan-directed thinly-veiled "Death Wish" rehash? Can this movie possibly be much more than the sum of its parts? What if the girl in "The Accused" had had a gun? I generally like Neil Jordan, but this doesn't look like it can possible be any good at all. "Panic Room" (which I liked) --> "Flightplan" --> this = GET A NEW AGENT JODIE.

The ending was awful, but I thought it was an OK film till then. I'm a Jodie Foster fan boy though, so I'm probably biased. What did people think was so awful about it?
