I love you, but it really hurt my feelings when you got drunk and embarrassed me in front of my friends. I know you were just trying to be funny, but when you made fun of my overbite it made me look like a fool. Still you're so sweet....

the problem with corn ON the cob is that it gets all stuck in yr teeth! but if it is already off the cob, it doesn't! weird!

I have had none this summer, I should rectify and with garlic butter too.

I was at this street festival all weekend and damn if the roasted corn on the cob booth didn't make a killing, $3/ear!!

I've never had elotes. It seems like it would be tasty, but big jars of mayo sitting in the sun all day on the vendors' carts make me somewhat nervous.

I once was so poor, like a month ago, that I went down to the food bank. They gave me a few stalks of corn. I got it home and couldn't get it to soften and tasted it and realized it was COW CORN, not sweet corn. Big difference, and thanks food bank!

Oh, see now that's not fair. That's not fair at all. I have nothing against apples, man. I love apples. The corn on the cob is harder to get out of your teeth and it gets in between MORE teeth than the apple. It's a totally different thing, yo.

I just got back from my wife's family reunion and had some fantastic corn on the cob that was put up in 2005! My wife's aunt uses a vacuum sealer and that stuff apparently keeps forever that way.

It does get in your teeth, but that's why there is floss.

It's been a good corn year so far.

Just had some good farmers market corn for dinner Saturday. Yum.

I eat corn on the cob from side to side; after eating to the end of the cob I rotate it upwards to bring 4 more rows of uneaten kernals to the fore, whereupon I proceed to eat those rows side to side. My wife eats it in a spiral, twirling the cob as she goes. I try not to look. I love my wife and don't want to lower her in my estimation simply because she eats cob corn by twirling it.

Yeah you gotta do the full row, like a typewriter. The spiral seems like it would throw off the balance when you're holding it in both hands like God intended. The side you start on will get lighter, I don't know, seems unnatural.

Kinda wanting to try the spiral method, if only to bring chaos into the household.

I always de-cob the corn before eating, cob viscera is some of the most annoying stuff to get stuck in my teeth

The flossing session after the meal is part of the ritual for me.
