Homer: Ooh, gummy bears! Gummy calves' heads... gummy jaw breakers! Ohh... What's that?
Man: That is the rarest gummy of them all, the gummy Venus de Milo, carved by gummy artisans who were exclusively in the medium of gummy.
Marge: Will you two stop saying "gummy" so much?!

Mr. Que, Friday, 27 July 2007 20:56 (eighteen years ago)

How big was the bag of Haribo Grapefruit? I think I polished off three of the standard (5 ounce?) bags of gold bears in like an hour once.

Abbott, Friday, 27 July 2007 21:15 (eighteen years ago)

omg sour patches are my love.

Will M., Friday, 27 July 2007 21:17 (eighteen years ago)

do you guys eat the crazy sour sugar at the end of sourpatch bag so you can pretend you are tough?

tehresa, Friday, 27 July 2007 21:20 (eighteen years ago)

I like to eat them mixed up in buttered popcorn.I got this idea from Seventeen Magazine of all places.

Abbott, Friday, 27 July 2007 21:20 (eighteen years ago)

bell_labs, Friday, 27 July 2007 21:23 (eighteen years ago)

I like to eat them in the rain

wanko ergo sum, Friday, 27 July 2007 22:34 (eighteen years ago)

A B C, Friday, 27 July 2007 22:37 (eighteen years ago)

Kasugai Strawberry Gummy--nothing comes close
well, gummy peach rings are a close second.

Stevie D, Friday, 27 July 2007 22:40 (eighteen years ago)

they should do gummy Gumbys. But then Pokey would be better because he'd be cherry/strawberry.

wanko ergo sum, Friday, 27 July 2007 22:42 (eighteen years ago)

actually, stevie, the melon and lychee varieties are way better!

tehresa, Friday, 27 July 2007 23:23 (eighteen years ago)

Oh man, I can't imagine lychee anything being good.

Abbott, Friday, 27 July 2007 23:29 (eighteen years ago)

well then, you can just leave right now!!!

tehresa, Friday, 27 July 2007 23:32 (eighteen years ago)

I'm kind of sensitive about the topic; I got kicked out of the community college Imagineering program. Sorry I can't imagine such a thing being good.

Abbott, Friday, 27 July 2007 23:38 (eighteen years ago)

Sourpatch anything FTW

Trayce, Saturday, 28 July 2007 04:29 (eighteen years ago)

(I wonder what a sourpatch condom would be like)

Trayce, Saturday, 28 July 2007 04:29 (eighteen years ago)

totally awesome, would be my guess.

Rubyredd, Saturday, 28 July 2007 04:30 (eighteen years ago)

better than those crappy chocolate ones that taste like straight cocoa + butter.

i voted gummy coke bottles, but really my favourite are those gummy peachy things.

Rubyredd, Saturday, 28 July 2007 04:32 (eighteen years ago)

Jaq sends me bags of Kasugai Muscat Gummies from Seattle every now and then. So good! tehresa is OTM, the lychee ones are really great too.

But I voted for sour gummy peaches. (xpost!)

I feel like pointing out sour patch's one (and only) flaw: too many = horrible, raw mouth for days

Tape Store, Saturday, 28 July 2007 05:12 (eighteen years ago)

Kasugai Strawberry Gummy--nothing comes close

Funny, our salesperson's family name is Kasugai.

Anyway, I love winegums.

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

ILX System, Tuesday, 31 July 2007 23:01 (eighteen years ago)

sometimes I feel like I'm being exploited with these polls.

wanko ergo sum, Tuesday, 31 July 2007 23:04 (eighteen years ago)

i would've voted SOUR COKE BOTTLES

rrrobyn, Tuesday, 31 July 2007 23:05 (eighteen years ago)

I certify this poll's results as correct.

Rock Hardy, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 00:17 (eighteen years ago)

Peaches got HOSED.

David R., Wednesday, 1 August 2007 00:18 (eighteen years ago)

Sour cherry coke bottles from that place in the mall are indeed the absolute bomb.

humansuit, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 00:20 (eighteen years ago)

OK guys lets move to increase production of all 'sour patch stylee' products, where can we get most favorbale economies of scale on tartaric acid? Anyone?

wanko ergo sum, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 00:22 (eighteen years ago)

I believe Britney Spears produces that naturally although I am not sure that in its raw state it is edible. On the other hand, if it could be strained with a clinching action it might purify it just enough for consumption.

humansuit, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 01:24 (eighteen years ago)

Those flat chewy candies...I don't know what they're called but they look like ribbons coated in the little acid crystals. So so yum, probably the highest amount per candy.

Abbott, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 01:25 (eighteen years ago)

YES sour patch!!!

Surmounter, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 01:26 (eighteen years ago)

this may be the first time i've backed a winner since high school mock elections

A B C, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 01:42 (eighteen years ago)

oh wait lolz even then i voted for nader

A B C, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 01:42 (eighteen years ago)

oh yeah those flat chewy candies you're talking about abbott are so good - total corner-store candy

the weird thing is that i love candy but i seriously never eat it :/ like a couple times a year i go get some from a bulk candy store and eat it alland am good for months and months

rrrobyn, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 01:52 (eighteen years ago)

I had a dream once that I hit the jackpot on a slot machine, but instead of quarters a whole shower of gummy worms came out.

Beth Parker, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 02:31 (eighteen years ago)
