The Long Riders FTW.

The Madness of King George - don't really remember the details too much, but whatever happened to Rupert Graves? Severely overlooked actor. He rocked in this one. Solid work all around; this was perhaps the last example of a solid British drama before the CGI-flicks, romcoms, and pop-star-in-period-piece films took over. Or at least that's how I like to remember it. The Lear scene is classic.

The Bitter Tea of General Yen - couldn't get into it, frankly. But an unexpected turn for Capra I must admit.

The Big Blue - speaking of "whatever happened to", whatever happened to Rosanna Arquette? I really liked this film - innocent but sexual, light but elegiac. Perhaps Besson's best.

Oh I really like Le Grand Blue. Moreover cause Arquette was in it.

I remember Swimming with Sharks mainly for a skinny, towering Benecio del Toro's sly, overarching campness.

Someone tell me more about The Long Riders. It's been one of those films that fascinates me w/o me knowing much about it.
