Now I am even sadder that my original plan to be in London for indie drinking fun has been ruined by ill health and house moving :-(

like i say there is no need to limit ourselves to one pub

i'm out in soho too. and then supposedly going to bowling. but if i'm late for bowling i'll come to pub instead.

The Owl and the Pussycat is a great pub - used to be my work local when I worked round there (which is why in my head it will always be The Owl and The Pussyflaps - not my juvenille humour, but it does stick.) It's a bit scutty, but is basically a decent old man boozer - except they do decent wine. (Did interview Ladytron in the garden once, but don't hold that against it.)

I am no longer going out in Soho, might make this after all.

Right then, I have to go home quickly after work but will probably be in the Owl & Pussycat around 8ish. I'm sure Dan will appreciate that we've picked a pub with a euphemism for 'vagina' in the name.

Any sense of whether anyone will be there earlier than habitual lateboy MDC? I have the chance of getting there earlyish doors for a swifty before I fly South for the winter, or at tleast the weekend. South to Peckham, that is.

I'll be there early as poss, but given I have to escape the black hole of mitcham this will probably be 7.
