I have Canadian cousins, but that isn't an option. The rest of my cousins seem to congregate around the Herts/Beds area.

Does Mexican mean just the kind of stuff actually eaten in Mexico, or can it include tasty southwestern-US and Tex-Mex deliciousness?

nabisco, Wednesday, 22 August 2007 20:20 (eighteen years ago)

YOUR MEXICAN COUSIN

jeff, Wednesday, 22 August 2007 20:23 (eighteen years ago)

As long as it's not completely slathered in cheddar cheese. Green chile: yes. What looks like the Thing got microwaved onto your entree: no.

JAPANESE WON? Weird. Not comfort-foody enuf for me, and I would have though the rest of the pudding-eaters on ILE would think the same.

Beth Parker, Thursday, 30 August 2007 23:06 (eighteen years ago)

What's more comforting than a shrimp tempura roll?

Rock Hardy, Thursday, 30 August 2007 23:07 (eighteen years ago)

Or japanese curry, or katsu-don. Mmmmm.

ledge, Thursday, 30 August 2007 23:08 (eighteen years ago)

Sukiyaki is the most comforting thing of all.

humansuit, Thursday, 30 August 2007 23:11 (eighteen years ago)

I had this dream last night that Chik•Fil•A opened an offshoot called Sea Bass. It still sold waffle fries (this whole dream was about trying to find and eat waffle fries), but its main entrees were like entire cuttlefish or bass (big ones!) tempura style.
