i have to say that the production of "o, my soul" is the best power pop they ecer recorded.

Zeno, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 11:37 (eighteen years ago)

oops...wrong board

Zeno, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 11:41 (eighteen years ago)

Last night I watched "Diggers" with Paul Rudd and Maura Tierney and Ken Marino from The State (written by him too) and every time this stoner character was on screen driving around in his truck he was playing Big Star.

I voted for "Back Of Car" (lol)

Alex in Baltimore, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 13:21 (eighteen years ago)

"Daisy Glaze" by a million miles.

Rock Hardy, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 13:28 (eighteen years ago)

i think it is actually 'september gurls' but i voted for 'thirteen'

ghost rider, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 13:43 (eighteen years ago)

this one is hard

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 29 August 2007 15:06 (eighteen years ago)

I'm glad I get to vote on this twice.
It's impossible to choose just one.
I picked O My Soul for this poll (Back of a Car for the ILM poll).
Radio City is such a perfect album.

Trip Maker, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 15:16 (eighteen years ago)

i also picked o my soul.

the schef (adam schefter ha ha), Wednesday, 29 August 2007 15:16 (eighteen years ago)

i picked in the street because i like that 70s show

sunny successor, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 15:26 (eighteen years ago)

In the Street is my fave. "Wish we had/ a joint so bad" is the high point of all art.

wanko ergo sum, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 18:09 (eighteen years ago)

I'd rather shoot a woman than a man
I worry whether this is my last life
And girl, if you're listening
I'm sorry, I can't help it

O Dana
O Dana
Come on

I'm forevermore fighting with Steven
We do our goo-goo-g'joobs
But we know
Overboard and down
And strung out twice

O Dana
O Dana
Come on

We seldom know what things are
Two illusions going very far

O Dana
O Dana
Come on

I got busted across the bridge
They rounded up every soul
And now I'm on the East Side
She says, "Don't give a girl a chance,
She's not afraid to take a chance."

O Dana
O Dana
Come on

She's got a magic wand
That says play with yourself before other ones

O Dana
O Dana
Come on, come on

O, O Dana,
Dana
Come on

I voted Kangaroo because...

Nevermind. I can't explain why.

kenan, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 19:02 (eighteen years ago)

"What's Going Ahn." So much better than Marvin Gaye's.

Kevin John Bozelka, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 20:12 (eighteen years ago)

I'm In Love With A Girl.
Finest girl in the world.
I didn't know I could feel this wa-a-a-ay.

pauls00, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 20:38 (eighteen years ago)

t0dd swiss, Wednesday, 29 August 2007 22:40 (eighteen years ago)

Since I already voted in the ILM poll, I'm going to pick one and see if my vote is its only vote.

Pleasant Plains, Thursday, 30 August 2007 00:36 (eighteen years ago)

Daisy Glaze

Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved, Thursday, 30 August 2007 01:11 (eighteen years ago)

Kangaroo, yes.

Trayce, Thursday, 30 August 2007 01:15 (eighteen years ago)

Thank you, I thought I was going to be the only vote for that. That's one of those songs that makes me wish I played an instrument so I could be in a band and play it. (xpost to jimmy mod)

Rock Hardy, Thursday, 30 August 2007 01:18 (eighteen years ago)

You mean Daisy Glaze?

Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved, Thursday, 30 August 2007 02:16 (eighteen years ago)

yeah!

Rock Hardy, Thursday, 30 August 2007 02:23 (eighteen years ago)

HI V!

Jimmy The Mod Awaits The Return Of His Beloved, Thursday, 30 August 2007 02:25 (eighteen years ago)

Kudos!

Rock Hardy, Thursday, 30 August 2007 02:28 (eighteen years ago)

To non-Americans, 'Thirteen' is exactly what they think idyllic, suburban middle-class, summer-filled USA is like. It gets my vote.

Huey in Melbourne, Thursday, 30 August 2007 03:48 (eighteen years ago)

I ended up voting for Thirteen also, I am a puss.
