One wonders why Microsoft don't just simply blow up Google HQ. You know they want to...

call me when it works on a mac, you asshats. It's a web app. There's no excuse for this.

Microsoft shits on everything that it does by failing to properly market it and making it sound like the generic version of a better product

the only thing this has going for it is the better quality more up to date sat pics . just tried to look at my childhood home and it told me they didn't have birds eye view for that area but it turns out they do, i just have to scroll towards it STEALTHILY...pretty silly.

the factories behind my parent's house has been a housing estate for over 3 years now.
and they do a lot of it with a plane now, then stitch it all together, hence the isometric view thing.

conversely this shows the new 38 bus resting place on the Lea Bridge roundabout whereas Google Maps still shows them parking beside Clapton Pond which they haven't done since the start of the year. i guess they're as inconsistent as each other.

This doesn't work on any of the three browsers I have installed on my mac. I can't think of another site that applies to.

I'm no tremendous fan of MS, but for the sake of historical accuracy I would like to point out that MS's Terraserver was the first web-based "look at your neighborhood...from SPACE!!" application I remember coming across. Maybe around '99? So the idea of them just biting Google, while still sorta true, isn't entirely on point.
