Is anyone else watching this goofy 'reality'/'sports'/'educational' show? It's a couple of american guys (wunza spry little dude, wunza giant oaf) travelling around the world and getting crash courses in the native martial arts of various cultures, culminating in each episode with one of 'em attempting to take on an expert.
So far I've seen episodes on Muay Thai, Eskrima, Savate, Judo, Karate, Pankration and Krav Maga. There's about an equal mixture of wow-coolness and headslappy idiocy in most episodes, I'd say. My favorite part so far has been when they were gearing up for the show-ending exhibition fight in the Phillipines, and discovered that it would be in the same ramshackle dump arena as the local cockfights.

Guaranteed once every episode: bald, goateed lummox says in voiceover "this guy is a true HUMANG WEAPONG!"

enthusiasts of city confidential should note that this show is made by the same people. i've only seen the one where they trained with the israeli commandos, which was ok.
