i met him a bunch as a child at fangoria conventions. he makes lots of crappy movies. i remember when jurassic park came out he tried to ride its coattails with carnosaur. he was saying carnosaur was better. he is a liar.

chaki, Thursday, 13 September 2007 20:50 (eighteen years ago)

His film of Mamet's Edmond wasn't bad. He knows how to direct actors.

Eazy, Thursday, 13 September 2007 20:59 (eighteen years ago)

he didnt have anything to do with carnosaur!!

His film of Mamet's Edmond wasn't bad. He knows how to direct actors.

Edmond is a definite curio - I was truly never sure whether or not the movie was awful or good; whether or not William H. Macy was giving the worst performance ever filmed or one of the best; whether or not Gordon was being deliberately ham-fisted with the visuals or whether he was stifled by a low-budget and fast schedule, etc. etc... either way it's totally worth a watch.

Ben Boyerrr, Friday, 14 September 2007 14:24 (eighteen years ago)

Anyway, I really like that Gordon sort of hops between his dark dramas like "King of the Ants" and "Stuck" and the real horror stuff... though I thought both of his "Masters of Horror" episodes were pretty awful.

Ben Boyerrr, Friday, 14 September 2007 14:26 (eighteen years ago)

Jeffrey Combs is the most Star Trek Aliens ever. Maybe.

Oilyrags, Friday, 14 September 2007 14:28 (eighteen years ago)
