You should consider the possibility that you are now too drunk to drink any more beer, and sensibly hit the spirits instead.

Hahahah. What you mean I didn't start this poll myself once and just don't remember doing it?
I say if you have to, drink some water and chill for at least half an hour, THEN have another beer.
Cans are much easier to take out to the trash/recycling than bottles, mate.
Save your glassware for wine and you'll be fine.

Of course I say that and now realize I can't actually get my fave pumpkin ale in anything but bottles, but you catch my drift.

Should I have another beer before I bicycle downhill to the bar? Oh, you think I should take it on the bike with me, you say? And pack a couple more in my bag? Heavens! Thank you for understanding my needs for once, ILX.

My only problem with cans is that they can't be played as musical instruments as they are emptied. And that weird little lip on the lid pop tops can cut you. I guess that's two problems.

Drinking Song
(c)2002 by Jason Webley
To the old chrome cassette,
Of my mother's voice,
I still cry when I hear her sing.
The clock struck twelve,
The voice I love so well,
Was eaten up by the machine,
It was eaten up by the machine!
When the glass is full,
Drink up! Drink up!
This maybe the last time
We see this cup.
If God wanted us sober,
He'd knock the glass over,
So while it is full we drink up!
A toast to Mary,
A girl I once loved,
Oh Lord, why do things have to die?
If drinking beer,
Could bring her back here,
I'd drink the damn place dry,
Yes, I'd drink the damn place dry!
Here's to the old house,
On Lily Pond Lane,
And the room where y boots used to rest.
One day I gave
The foundation a shake,
But my home did not pass the test,
No my home did not pass the test.
Michael McQuilken: drums
Gary Luke: tuba
Harry-Pierce: clarinet, saxophone
lovers and friends: vocals
Jason Webley: vocals, accordion

Gosh, you know...there are people I love to talk about music with who still don't understand the appeal of drinking...it's very perplexing.
