Yeah but it's a bit like rapid-fire goal montages in that you can put pretty much any music over the top and it works.

It does seem better with the French stuff though.

A stands for awesome. B is overproduced and heavy on the cheese. The guys in C need to spend a little more time trimming the fat out of their clips.

I'm still amused that someone decided to give "runnin' around and jumpin' on stuff" - as it was so affectionately known in my youth - a snazzy name. : )

To answer the question, hip-hop and R.A.A.J.O.S. seem like a good combo. You have the physical movement/dance aspects which some of these guys pull off with varying degrees of hip-hop style. Then you have the whole appropriation of pre-existing elements (records; buildings).

However, I'm sure you could cue up videos to align more closely with other subcultures/musical styles. (xpost)
