Do any of you use this site?
It seems like a good idea. It facilitates trades based on what you have/what you want.
It is too bad, though, that everything I want is about black metal, and everything that I have and want to trade is about, like, Vegetarian cooking.

I did but I have to wait until I have time to gather isbn numbers (or upc or whatever they want).
Have you made a swap yet?

you can get the isbn/upc numbers off of amazon. it's a bit backwards but they're usually there! you can also just search swaptree for the item and add it.

Isn't that what lala.com (link is to a thread on ILM) was going to do when they started? (they've since turned into "upload your music and listen to it everywhere" site, apparently - I wonder why: legal issues or just not enough people joining?)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lala.com -> still thinks it's for swapping (and mentions legal issues), but http://lala.com doesn't look like it is?

Those lala chaps were at the artist area at Bonnaroo and were the only nice people around.

Did they give you the shoes you posted in that other thread? :-)

They just do books, dvds and movies, right?
― Misery, Tuesday, 25 September 2007 20:40 (nineteen years ago)
I wish I had something worth trading for the stuff I want lol.

No, but they gave me a shirt with a mariachi man on it!

Misery -- also games. But that is all.
Hmm, I don't really buy music or dvds and when I do it's b/c I intend to keep them. Games and books yes though.
