This educational music video from 1991 by the Finnish Alcohol Company provides a wonderful example of early 90s cool.

The video warns teens not to have sex while drunk, btw, as they might forget to use a condom. The chorus: "sex is fun while you're sober / when you're drunk you do it the wrong way". If I'd personally followed this maxim, I'd probably had about 60% less sex in my life.
