The case against Tuesday:
1. You get past Tuesday, only to find Wednesday. At least once you are past Wednesday you have the solace of Thursday.
2. Everybody is mentally primed to deal with Monday. No one pays enough attention to the trials of Tuesday.
3. Tuesday afternoons IMHO are the longest of the week.
4. When was the last time something good happened to you on a Tuesday?

I am blue today. I want to be in a lighthouse with a dog and a cat and a mouse, a large arran sweater, a gramaphone and a pile of crosswords.
I don't want to be where I am.

Tuesdays I very much agree are the ass-day of the week as a whole. Most of the week still lies ahead of you and not much ever seems to happen. It is therefore obnoxious.

My most boring meeting is Tuesday, I can confirm. I just got out of it, actually. It's like the morning de-motivation session.

Surprised no one mentioned it being new release day (Stateside anyway), which of course it no longer is. I wonder if anyone ever determined that the shift to Fridays for new releases helped or hurt anything. Though I haven't done many day-of-release purchases in recent years.
When I worked five-day weeks I think I regarded Tuesday as a day to regain hope and inspiration after having managed to get through Monday.
