Bush and Blair threaten to escalate the WoT by invading Iraq

Madness. Lunacy. Sheer bloody-minded insanity.

The leaders of the US and UK are cold-eyed, lying, murderous scum: democratically elected politicians (or maybe not in Bush's case) who choose to represent the interests of corporate tyranny to the exclusion of every other consideration. And now they've decided to brutally kill even more defenceless, innocent Muslim people.

How can we stop them?

They're just using it to 'bury bad news' at home (Blair the Euro, Bush Enrongate). But they might bury us all in the process. My advice: stay out of countries that use their populations as human shields for politicians and corporations.

At least they don't have an army (they just have a defence force).

When and where was this said and by whom?

I'm asking b/c the govt. over here has been denying impending military action against Iraq ever since Bush's state of the union address. I'm wondering if they have actually reversed their position or is this just media hyperbole.

Jack Straw, of course, being the Foreign Secretary in the Blair government, for the benefit of non-UK ILxers.

Nothing will happen until the US can figure out where they stand with Saudi Arabia. There are enough uncertainities here to demonstrate that vigilance is useful vis-a-vis BushCo's action, but not complete paranoia yet.
