Just got back today. I deciced to return home two days earlier. I figured, why stay in a hospital when I can do the same here in my own home.
Yes, I was induced. It has its advantages - it was a much quicker delivery (or rather less labour time) - but man oh MAN were the contractions heavier and quicker in succession. Thank god for epidural. Honestly, as soon as the drugs kicked in, I was tripping. Before (drugsfree and with contractions) I was ready to slap my husband to anotehr planet. But as soon as I had my epidural I couldn't stop jibbering and smiling. The delivery itself, which was speeded up cause I was suddenly bleeding quite heavily before I was 8 cm dilated - lasted again ten minutes (or a bit less, can't recall).
