Well done Gareth! I do not have a cd writer. Or even a tape player.
Sorry I can't share.

I've been downloading lots and lots of black metal albums (Enslaved,
Akercocke [which is FUCKING AWESOME] etc) but right now am
downloading Tim Finney's top 20 garage tracks to make myself a
primer.

Hope you all don't mind my asking here on Gareth's thread,
but...what are the best filesharing services for Mac? Is Limewire
still tops? Is there a Mac version of Audiogalaxy? I just got DSL
service at home and I'm itchin' to download. E-mail me if you'd
like. Thanks.

hey, what bob james album is 'angela' on? I'm curious because I
always discounted anything after Three (One/Two are best, no?) but
looking at my recs I don't see it, but then I guess I don't have
Four or anything after Heads (Touchdown, the one with the Ladybugs,
etc.) Anyways, last night I was also having fun with my CD burner,
but burning different firmware versions to flash into the DVD
player. I didn't know you could do that!

ron, i don't believe its on the numbers albums (i only have 2 and 4
though, 4s good man, you should pick it up). its later on isn't it,
but i'm not sure.
wyndham, i know i know, tv themes="hey im so wacky" but its only 9
seconds long, and i just wanted it
robin, whats wrong with motley crue?
― gareth, Thursday, 7 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

― ambrose, Thursday, 7 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)
Er, 'Angela' is on Touchdown, Bob fans.
― Bill E, Thursday, 7 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)
"robin, whats wrong with motley crue"
Isn't it blindingly obvious?
― Robin Carmody, Friday, 8 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)
Oddly enough, looking back upthread I remember that the brief jingle
that opens Momus's "Ping Pong" album was originally written for a
film version of Pingu that never got made: "Pingu the penguin la la
la on his sleigh", that sort of thing. Maybe you could have
put "Ping Pong With Hong Kong King Kong (A Sing Song)" as a brief
interjection that *didn't* scream "Hey I'm so wacky", Gareth ...
― Robin Carmody, Friday, 8 March 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)
ambrose, i'm burning you a copy too (and of the third one, when i
finish it)>
robin, already have that momus song on that album on cd.

Where from? I can never find many garage mp3s. There are loads of
websites on google that claim to have garage mp3s but they all seem
to say "closed - back with redesign December '01" or similar. Grr. I
want that Onyx Stone and MC Malibu track but I don't want to buy it
because I'll probably decide it's rubbish once I've heard it again
properly.
(I suspect the answer is Audiogalaxy, which I gave up on partly
because of its spyware infestation but mostly because the satellite
almost never worked for me, and I can get all the idm and indie I
want from elsewhere anyway, and being ILX's token irredeemable
rockist that's most of the stuff I want and is enough to distract me
from the other stuff.)
