Oops. Thanks.

I was inspired to create this thread after a recent viewing of Alphaville, where as pointed out in Chris Darke's book, he seems to have come straight off the set of The Trail, but I am pretty certain to vote for his portrayal of The Boss in The Great McGinty.

I didn't even realize he was in some of these, like The Scarlett Empress. Good excuse to revisit.

I was hoping this poll would see some action when Morbius got to "school."

James Redd and the Blecchs, Thursday, 15 November 2007 14:44 (eighteen years ago)

But now it looks like this thread is going to get even less than one of his film poll threads.

James Redd and the Blecchs, Thursday, 15 November 2007 14:45 (eighteen years ago)

Which is perhaps his intention.

For those of you who don't have basic moviegoing French, Le Procès = The Trial.

James Redd and the Blecchs, Thursday, 15 November 2007 14:46 (eighteen years ago)

placing Touch of Evil first, unfair. It's that or McGinty, from what I've seen.

Dr Morbius, Thursday, 15 November 2007 14:57 (eighteen years ago)

I just went with the imdb rankings. Maybe next time I list in alphabetical order?

James Redd and the Blecchs, Thursday, 15 November 2007 14:59 (eighteen years ago)

Chronological!

Tom D., Thursday, 15 November 2007 15:01 (eighteen years ago)

I just found a weird mystery at the bookstore where a guy goes south of the border looking for the head of Pancho Villa and wanders across the set of Touch of Evil.

James Redd and the Blecchs, Monday, 19 November 2007 06:23 (eighteen years ago)

Still time to vote and weigh in.

James Redd and the Blecchs, Tuesday, 20 November 2007 22:30 (eighteen years ago)

Maybe I should have mentioned Boris Badenov?

tremendoid, Wednesday, 21 November 2007 03:38 (eighteen years ago)

actually Tamiroff v. Brian Donlevy in a character act-off is not a bad idea.
