I know you're supposed to take a break once in a while but somehow I always forget. I've tried drops to no avail.
I have the impression though that I suffer from eye fatigue much more than other people (and I don't need glasses, I've checked with two or three eye doctors already). Anyone experiencing this?

if CRT what is yr refresh rate - boost it up to 80 or thereabouts.

Ok, I've set it to the max allowed (75). let's see how that goes. Anyone care to explain the difference btw TFT and CRT?

TFT is flat, CRT is an enormous box.

It can be screen glare rather than referesh or resolution. Some of these new screens are like mirrors.

on windows? i find the default windows screen colours are too bright and it's like staring at the sun for 8 hours at a time. try a softer colour scheme. (i'm using Silver).
but don't make it too dark or you'll get reflections which isn't fun either. (some people here are using black backgrounds. = nutters)
and don't reduce the contrast between background and text to the point where you're straining to see the words.

google for 'eye rest reminder', there are loads.
(fuck a shareware though. it's such a noddy app, anybody who wants money for while [ 1 ]; do echo "look away"; sleep 15m; done needs a good kicking.)
