It doesn't bear thinking about. Brazilian fans jump, that's what they do, and the stadium literally bounces with them. Friends assured me that the trampoline effect of these concrete bowls was entirely normal. When I was over in Brazil I went to loads of matches and I used to shudder at the thought of something like this happening.
