nb i liked both of these movies but <3<3<3<3<3 the trailers

max, Monday, 26 November 2007 20:26 (eighteen years ago)

There are too many to mention. In fact it would probably be more helpful to list the film that are better than the trailers then i might see some films I've avoided.

Not actually as good as I remember, but still way better than the movie

i thought "notes on a scandal" ran like one very long trailer. neither the trailer nor the film was very good. this is somewhat off topic.

For some reason, the first thing I thought of for this thread: National Treasure.

Children of Men had a horrible trailer which put me off even thinking of seeing it until I heard so much positive buzz about it.

latebloomer, Tuesday, 27 November 2007 01:26 (eighteen years ago)

the comedian trailer has made my day, i think it's the eyebrow raise after "i'm fired".

Little Children had the single best trailer I saw all last year. And it was coincidentally the single worst film I saw in its entirety.

The Miami Vice sequence where the Foxx shoots open the door then we get a montage of cocking weapons mixed into the song never gets old.

I was desperately trying to remember what could have been so fantastic about a trailer for a Neil LaBute film starring Aaron Eckhart.

'drillbit taylor' -- there are only two decent gags not used in the trailer.

Independence Day. Me and my friends were all well excited when we saw the trailer in the cinema.

american gangster very good example

s1ocki, Tuesday, 18 March 2008 13:53 (seventeen years ago)

the s1mpson5 movie. i watched this on friday and of the four lols, two of them were in the trailer. one of other two was from the titles where bart is writing on the blackboard "i will not illegally download this movie" which was only funny because that was precisely what I had done. i should probably not say things like this on the interents should i?

otm. I would always prefer to watch a 2-1/2 minute film with bad acting and camerawork and a plot that fills up 2 minutes of its run time, than a 90 minute movie with bad acting and camerawork and a plot that fills up 2 minutes of its run time.
