I get angry at the world. Why isn't it as cool as me? Why doesn't it cater more to my weird tastes, my principles, etc.? Then I realize all the ways in which I am jerky and uninteresting and recant a bit. But then I swing back in my mind and realize how full of shit everything seems to be...and I consider it some sort of miracle that I don't explode into tremendous rages on a daily basis in reaction to how annoying everything is.

Basically I'm a fifteen year-old trapped inside a thirty-something's body. I don't do much myself to change things in the world, but I have an endless list of complaints at hand for any unlucky ear available to suffer my crankdom.

But then, I don't even complain that much to myself, which I think indicates that it is all bottled up inside of me, which means that I will end up getting really horrible cancer of the toenail or something. Stepping outside the door sometimes requires putting such an immense psychic blanket over myself that it's a wonder that I haven't just slid into full-blown alcoholism by now, or taken up heroin.
