"St Trinians" (2007). Why?

I saw a poster for this on the side of a bus yesterday. A quick google search reveals the prescence of russell brand, and that the film is described as (wait for it......) "edgy". Wow, that's an original idea, isn't it.

What the fuck is the point of this. The four sixties St Trinians films were as funny as fuck, the eighties one was embarrasing and NOT FUNNY AT ALL NOT EVEN ONCE. My money is on this film being worse than "carry on columbus".
