So! I just got back from the binders. At 4pm, I'm going back to pick up my bound thesis and submit it. After 4 years and 3 months, I will now have between 1 and 4 months before my viva with nothing to do but bask in the glory that is not having a PhD to do. I can do anything I want! What should I do?

Thanks. I'm pretty wired right now. Not so much nervous as just excited. I actually am more worried about not enjoying it than I am about not passing (watch me rue this post tomorrow when I don't pass). When else will I have two educated people reading something I've worked on for 4+ years and actually wanting to discuss it with me at length?
― G00blar, Thursday, 28 February 2008 23:34 (seventeen years ago)
That sounds like a good way to be thinking about it. You'll be fine. You'll probably know pretty much straight off whether they liked your work or not, so can relax from there.
― krakow, Friday, 29 February 2008 08:24 (seventeen years ago)
Yes, this sounds like a very good attitude indeed. This is your time to bask in the limelight of having people talk to you about your baby. So try to enjoy it. Hope it all goes well!
― Masonic Boom, Friday, 29 February 2008 09:16 (seventeen years ago)
GL Goobs!
