OK, it was meant to be finished for Halloween, but a remix or two later...
And remember, it's just a bit of fun, so let's be cool for Christmas.

(!) I like the panning and phasing. It's so much better than the version ("not by the original artists") on the Halloween CD we picked up from Asda for two quid that Ava insists we keep playing.

Ha, that's actually great. Have you just bought a new flanger pedal or something?

No, I finally got a laptop/PC strong enough to do decent x-track recording.
We did some reworking on this, editing and suchlike. Actually, it was more a project for me to use a nice digital recording studio software, and try out functions. (Last time I did any home recording like this, it was 4 track cassette fostex stuff). e.g. Alice would insist on singing "the ghouls all came to my humble abode to get a joint from my electrode" (so Amber got that line)...
A bit later, Alice got a bit bored with it, and I asked her what song she would rather have done. She thought a bit and started singing Natasha Bedingfield's "I wanna have your babies" and got most miffed when I told her she couldn;t do that one.
Amber is quite keen to do "Goodbye Mr A" as they both know all the words off by heart, and Alice asked about doing Green Day, but when I asked her which and/or suggested which, she seemed unsure. She did mention "Rockaway beach" so they may well do that one.

Great!
I don't know why, but it reminded me of http://www.irscorner.com/s/images/shampooband.jpg

They did get round to doing the b-side, funnily enough...
