I get this weekend, then I got 6 hours in the evening on monday, go to bed, get up at the ass crack to be back in here at 0600 AM EST and start my twelve-hour Santa Shift.

Last year my Santa Shift was 1800-0600 OVERNIGHT, literally up through christmas eve and into christmas day.

OTOH I don't have to be at work on New Year's day until 2 in the afternoon.

Hi jaymc. I didn't have a chance to get into the city much but the conference was wonderful. Great music and people. On the last day, we hoped to see the art gallery but underestimated how long the subway would take. So we ended up having lunch at an Italian restaurant called "The Village" or somesuch and went back.
