Especially for mediums you generally aren't particularly interested in, but the writing is interesting enough. The more obscure the genre the better. For theater, I love reading Peter Filichia at TheaterMania.com. I read Penny Arcade for video game criticism. For obvious reads: Bill Simmons for sports, A.O. Scott + Anthony Lane for film, etc.
