i was an instructor in aspen for two years! baby mountain better until they figure out how to turn (tho steep makes it easier to turn. GO FIGURE)

i do not think i will see the meteor shower tonight because a) lights from chicago generally obscure all celestial activity, b) it will be so goddamn cold i'm staying inside and c) it'll probably be cloudy here anyway.

memphis is a blast because the people i know there are some of the nicest, most talented, and most fun human beings i've ever had the pleasure to be around.

i was in little rock at a government training facility for government training. i saw the airport, the inside of a government van, the inside of the training place and that was it.

not since 2nd grade.
as with most things, my preference would depend on the person and the circumstances.

when people tried to snowplough through turns did you give the "they may do turns that way in vail but thats not how we ski in aspen!!" speech? our instructor sure did.

because i grew up in massachusetts and a love of the pats was one of the first things i learned from my dad. i stayed true to them when they were horrible (the kenny sims years, the heart lee dykes years, the rod rust era, etc.) and i wasn't about to abandon them just because i moved a thousand miles away.

because if it wasn't it would set itself apart from the other days. and hey, while you're here, do you know anything about a record label called "dead & dry"? i've been trying to find the chocolat 7" on it and can not find it anywhere. it's ysael (formerly of demon's claws) new band and i'm LOVING the songs.

i personally didn't, but def worked with those that did. i mean, i taught 3.5-5 year olds. staying upright and engaged was job #1
