Y'gotta admit, though, that the styrofoam head has the archetypal expression of nonchalant cool going on. Surely the fact that it's sporting the Blueblockers is no mere coincidence.

So, essentially, based on the visual aids that I've selected, the poll comes down to cool vs bliss, tragically hip vs pretty vacant, gritty nyc velvet underground vs west coast hippays.

At this point in my life I would like to embody the bliss, but there's also much to be said for a certain amount of self-aware detachment. I suppose I'd like to have a proper mish-mash of both-- some happay, but not a vacuous version of such. The styrofoam head vs yup twosome surely present a dialectic on the order of the Apollonian vs the Dionysian. If Nietzsche were alive, he would be couching a philosophy in terms of products from the golden age of infomercials, rather than ancient civilizations' deities. Of that fact I am sure.
