sherilynn. my college roommates and i were big sherilynn fans. we bought the issue of playboy with her in it, and rented two-moon junction at least twice.

(i wrote a paper for a film studies class about the women of twin peaks. my lesbian deconstructionist prof was a big fan of the show.)

I just started re-watching season 1 after not having seen it in 20+ years and I don't remember finding Audrey quite as insufferable as I do now

Also I remember this show being way stranger and spookier. It's still good and all but the adult plot lines now feel to me like David Lynch + Northern Exposure and the teenager plot lines feel like David Lynch + Degrassi

I may watch Season 2 after this, even though I remember the entire middle of that season being an absolute slog. Regardless, Dale Cooper remains one of my all time favorite characters on a television series

Fenn in TP is truly incredibly iconic and beautiful, in my mind maybe the most beautiful woman who was ever on television. It counts for something.

agree with paul that rewatching season 1 after having seen season three is pretty jarring. the storyline with the kids really hits a wall about a third of the way into the season, none of them are really interesting enough (except audrey)
