Am I socially inept?

Although to be honest, my own music is in a different city and I do have to keep myself awake tonight. Out of my parents' CD collection I could have chosen Alexander O'Neal, ABC, Mary Coughlan (?), Tina Turner, Simply Red, not to mention all the yearly X Factor Xmas crap. I think I made a good choice given the circumstances.
