Hanle y's "Pocari Sweet" Sounds Like Bowie's "Abdulmajid"

I'm not saying that Hanle y ripped off DB , but I knew that "Pocari Sweet" reminded me of something I'd heard before. Till today, when I played a CDR with "Abdulmajid," though, I couldn't figure it out.

This is also a pretty blatant attempt to get Kansas City's most noted cut-up to post more, and I'm too lazy to search for the "Pancake Breakfast" thread.

Lest anyone (including Hanle y himself) gets the wrong idea, I mean the comparison between the songs as complimentary towards Hanle y.

How can one get some of his music? I like this comparison.

"An Argument for Sugar" is the best thing I've heard all month. Hanle y is the bastard child of Honeybunch and the Young Marble Giants.

(Actually it also sounds like the fellows from Bradford and the Railway Children. If they were guesting on a 6ths record. Post- Morrissey melismatics ahoy.)
