This show is fantastic. It's amazing how much of an afterthought Chyna, Brigitte, and Mary Carey are on this show. Jeff Conaway is the greatest, and Dan Baldwin is making a pretty good case for Shittiest Baldwin (which I'd have never thought possible given the existence of Stephen).

on radio drew has to try cut straight through people's shit and he sometimes goes for pretty pat conclusions about callers as a result(he's right an astonishing amount of the time but still). when he gets eye to eye with fools he takes his time and even plays along for a while to get where he needs to go, pretty fascinating. not that this tv show is an ideal or even healthy project to be doing but i don't think they could have found anyone more conscientious AND capable of stewarding it.[/ dickride]

man gary busey is one fucking obnoxious piece of work. if I had to live with him I'd fucking escape. although this does bring up a good point: the PR piece above says he's there as a sobriety coach, but Dr. Drew pretty clearly thinks he is not living a competely sober life. So under what pretense was he brought onto the show? Was it a "Gary Busey needs to make some money this year, can he be on your reality show?" sort of deal?

Dennis Rodman is there because a court ordered him to be there. He is surly. Alcohol seems to be a vice. It's hard to hear what he's saying because he mumbles so much.

Heidi Fleiss is battling addiction to meth, which she used earlier in the day before arriving. Also, she lives on a ranch by herself with many many parrots. Also, she tries to be Shelley's pimp almost immediately.

The ex-bassist from Alice in Chains is a hardcore drug user of whatever he can get his hands on. He often does drugs with his dad. He seems ready to explode, but has a veneer of politeness.

Mindy McReady has a pharma addiction but claims to be there because she's addicted to her boyfriend (who beat her up and subsequently went to jail for a while).
