the best time to crazy glue is after a couple beers and when you are really really tired and decide you have to fix not things that really need fixing but some old thing you found in a box that is broken in its smallest part

its one way to obscure your fingerprints anyway

the crazy glue bandit
i'm pretty sure that krazy glue (which yeah i know is really how it's spelled) is not the best kind of glue bonding product out there but those ads! i am from the 80s iguess

i have never used krazy glue and NOT gotten myself all gluey.
― ian, Saturday, 12 January 2008 05:26 (eighteen years ago)
i'm glad to hear that! the internet has many different solutions to glue problems - like, vinegar might take it off, acetone, hot water soaking, other things. it always seems to go away in a day for me though anyway.

I have never used crazy glue, but the advertising image of the construction dude hanging on to his hardhat - which has been krazy glued to some high beam - for dear life is seared onto my brain for all time.

Whoa. Superglue is on my shopping list for today, along with butter, OJ and jalapeƱos. Let's hope I don't mix them up, otherwise that's going to be one hell of a Sunday breakfast, etc.
One of my favourite things about visiting my dad: he has a glue gun. Those things rule.

You know that you can get a fab glue gun for about $10 and have all kinds of fun @ home, rite?
― libcrypt, Saturday, 12 January 2008 06:33 (eighteen years ago)
yeah, I should do that. I could really fuck someone up with one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bostick-Bostik-Handy-Glue-Gun/

gorilla glue!
― gbx, Saturday, 12 January 2008 18:06 (eighteen years ago)
Wow, that is a good link, eater!
I have found gorilla glue not so good for gluing handles back to mugs, but I did fix a pair of glasses with it. One of the...arms? ear support extensions?...came off, and the hinge was totally warped = could not be screwed together. So I glued it back on w/the gorilla glue. I could not fold them, but they stayed on & it looked flawless, so YAY! (But then my dog ate them a few weeks later.)
Has anyone tried gorilla tape, their duct tape? I am really excited by the idea but I fear it would be a disappointment, and I don't really have any use for it.

Reminds me of the old ads for Solvite: http://hybris.cms.henkel.com/medias/58344bc8e500001e.jpg

Is the title to be sung to the manner of "Juicy Fruit! It's gonna move ya!"
― Abbott, Saturday, 12 January 2008 20:07 (eighteen years ago)
OK I just got that^^
(At first I thought you were referring to 'solvite', but then I started singing at new answers)
