here is a story:
once, while on the best acid trip of my existence (and...uh, i used to do a lot of acid), the local movie theater was playing Crash. But the marquee read: Sandra Bullock in Crash. so i said, "more like Sandra Bullock in My Pants: The Movie. later, i even invented a musical spin-off, called My Pants: The Movie: The Musical. the only song i ever came up with went like this:

PANTS GUY: Look at my pants!
CHORUS: Those pants are grand!
PANTS GUY: My pants are grand!
CHORUS: YOUR....PANTS....ARE....GRAND!!!

and so on.

it was very very good acid.

UGH. Crash by Cronenberg (based on the JG Ballard novel) is a different movie.

Crash with Sandra Bullock (aka My Pants: The Movie) is about racism and classism in contemporary LA. it is awful.

Crash by Cronenberg is great though. i mean, a lot of people have told me they couldn't get past the first 30 minutes, but if you have a stomach for weird sex shit and lots of blood/scars, it is worth it.
