i swear i started a thread about this guy years ago. his album is ok. i got kicked out of assembly when he was performing in elementary school cuz i was like "this guy is from tv" and wouldnt shut up.

ha, i remember when "Slim Goodbody" was supposed to come to my school and it wasn't him it was his "friend" dressed in a similar suit

I never heard of this dude. I thought from the name he was going to be some kind of Country & Western singer or rodeo clown, a cross between Slim Whitman and Slim Pickens.

I still love my Slim Goodbody record - it's not the one pictured above though. The brain song is really great. What would I do without my trusty old brain? One of my dumbass remix songs samples "Down Down Down" for a cheap gag.

I don't remember the show with any clarity at all though.

perhaps not "the" defining moment, but it was at that same concert that i realized "whoa i feel like dancing whoooo dancing is fun" for the first time ever, and i am now a total dance factory party for all time.

slim goodbody, though, not very conducive to boners.

I met Slim Goodbody when I was a kid and he came to my summer camp on Fire Island! I don't think I found him nearly as creepy then as I do now.
