Ex. This morning I promised myself I wouldn't hit the liquor store to buy more beer because the 5 still in the fridge were enough.

I also promised myself I'd be in bed and reading by 11pm, and not on the internet doing the "Well, just one more cigarette and one more beer" game until 2am.
