MLK Day: I show up at the office, and no one is here - how long do I wait to go home?

So, I spent ALL weekend in bed with a horrendous bout of the flu. Am only feeling partly right again today.

But, being the dutiful worker, I got on the road on this, the holiday to honor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther (the) King, Jr., made it to work in record time due to a lack of traffic, and have spent the last two and a half hours working.

But no one is here.

And no one has called.

And, at this point (9:30am) I doubt anyone will.

So, the question is: How long do I wait before I go home?

not another second. I'm at work today because 96% of our clients are attorneys and they like to work on Xmas day if nobody is around to tell them how fucked up they are.

I didn't even go in today. It's snowing out so no one will be there anyway...

I don't know BLAM, but maybe you should use the time to thank me for putting together a big list of things to do on Oahu. A little mahalo action would have been nice.

I always like working on a govt holiday like this: holiday plus regular pay plus nothing to do. This was geat at Kinko's where I would print out giant vinyl banners and stuff because I could, and give all the customers their orders for free because there were no managers around. Feel the love.
