Yes, glasses are not meant to go with one's tie. Or, perhaps, they are not meant to be a slightly different color than one's tie.

Those glasses, however, loudly proclaim that he is the type of man who believes that perhaps his glasses *should* match his tie. That is a useful bit of information, surely.

I need glasses, but can't stand to wear them. Years and years of this is probably why my right eye is fundamentally useless.

I wore contacts for a while, then a then-gf suggested I looked cuter in glasses. I switched back (5 years ago) and have been pretty happy with it.

I keep a spare pair in the car now just in case I'm running late sometimes. Know there's always a pair in the glovebox.

The problem with guys with glasses is when they take off those glasses to facilitate the exertions of physical intimacy, and no longer look (a) as cute (b) like the same person you set out to be intimate with. Though this is not true for all glasses-wearers.

I have never had the "where are my" problem, but then my eyes are so bad I never even get out of BED without grabbing glasses from the nightstand. I know where they are at pretty much all times.

i stopped wearing contacts bcuz they made my eyes really red and people thought i was stoned 24/7

i am the same as laurel. i have worn glasses since i was 8, and i can't do shit without 'em, so i never misplaced 'em anywhere. ditto the retainer i (blessedly) haven't had to wear for ten years.
