bell_labs, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:40 (eighteen years ago)

milano, sentimental vote. all these were good. except when they tried to go 'down home' e.g. the Chesapeake Choc Chip

wanko ergo sum, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:42 (eighteen years ago)

$2.99 for 6 cookies means the last one I ate was ca. 1994

wanko ergo sum, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:43 (eighteen years ago)

double chocolate milano are tite
also mint milano

bell_labs, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:43 (eighteen years ago)

but i could go for a bag of pirouettes (these only seem to come in the samplers)

OTM (sad about the sampler-only situation)

Tape Store, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:44 (eighteen years ago)

their large round 'soft batch' style cookies are rarely as good as the traditional three level stack of goodness. i do like the double chocolate whatever ones though.

ian, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:46 (eighteen years ago)

Chocolate Chessmen

^^ again, where??

i love chessmen. the same way the only girlscout cookie i REALLY love is the basic shortbread cookie jammer.

ian, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 05:47 (eighteen years ago)

Pirouettes come in tins mang, any grocery store worth grocing at will have them

A B C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:32 (eighteen years ago)

I can't pick a favorite from the milano family, I wish they'd put out variety packs bc how oversexed do you have to be to really need an entire thing of orange milanos

A B C, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 06:34 (eighteen years ago)

otm. my milano vote is a general show of appreciation for the entire genus.

tehresa, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 07:25 (eighteen years ago)

BORDEAUX, regular

I will not have any other as winner

Joe, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 13:14 (eighteen years ago)

RIP ginger man?

La Lechera, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 13:26 (eighteen years ago)

Mint Milano.

And I hate those commercials that imply that Milanos are for frustrating moms seeking a break from their mothering activities. I'm a man, and I LIVE for Milanos.

Double Chocolate Milano kick ass, but strangely, milk chocolate Milanos miss the point.

i'll bring bordeaux battered oysters. xp to self.

ian, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 18:11 (eighteen years ago)

whoa why is that banana pudding thing such a good idea??

Surmounter, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 18:12 (eighteen years ago)

did they only make chocolate chessman so that you could actually play chess with them, and eat the pieces that you take?

Jordan, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 18:14 (eighteen years ago)

ian, i am totally up for that.

lauren, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 18:41 (eighteen years ago)

i have to admit that i make a variation of a paula deen recipe - the horror, the horror. at least it's not a sandra lee creation, which would probably involve adding jello pudding cups to a bag of crushed shortbread cookies and piping the resulting glop into banana peels.

lauren, Wednesday, 30 January 2008 18:42 (eighteen years ago)

i never knew there were so many variations of the milano. i voted for original. mini milano's sound amazing.

Orange! Orange! Orange Milano

Capitaine Jay Vee, Sunday, 3 February 2008 00:31 (eighteen years ago)

classic mint milano gets my vote

this poll reminds me that when i was a kid i used to dig through the bag of chessmen and eat all the rooks for some reason

ciderpress, Sunday, 3 February 2008 00:51 (eighteen years ago)

bordeaux best, followed closely by chessman and gingerman. I mean I wouldn't say no to a milano or anything but for straight up awesomeness bordeaux is the one to beat, for realz
