I don't think Dench is bad, it's just that the Academy falls all over themselves to nominate her regardless of what she's in and whether she was actually any good in it. And that's just because she's an older British actress from a theatrical background who gets consistent work in Oscar-friendly films.

We totally disagree – she's improved, warmed, whatever. She's insufferable in The French Lieutenant's Woman, Sophie's Choice and In the Still of the Night.

Laura Linney is massively overrated but I don't hate her. Actually I don't hate most of the actresses on this list but I hate some of the movies they were in with a fiery passion.

(For example, I love Nicole Kidman to death but MY GOD "THE HOURS" WAS A GIGANTIC PILE OF HORSESHIT)
