Repeatedly racially abusing Tito Santana while a WWF commentator. That shit was hilarious.

"I ain't got time to bleed." is my favorite thing he has ever said (from Predator)

chaki, Friday, 1 February 2008 18:42 (seventeen years ago)

oh holy shit i totally forgot to put that in! and his memoir!! goddammit i knew i was forgetting something

gff, Friday, 1 February 2008 18:48 (seventeen years ago)

For me it isn't so much what he said in Predator as it is the lingering image of him barechested and warpainted, cheek stuffed to capacity with "chaw," and wielding a fucking gatling gun.

That said, I always thought it was a huge mistake for the creators of Predator to have killed his character off so quickly and early-on in the narrative. Maybe he would never have gotten top-billing over Arnie (though it surely would have been more interesting to see his character in the final confrontation sequence), but the character should at least have been given the chance to have a real knock-down, drag-out FITE with the monster before having his chest all blown to smithereens.

oh wow yeah i missed this one too.

would have gone for the playboy quote too though, i love his predator character - the point where he's just about to waste a bucket load of ammo into some evil foreigners but still finds time to take a spit.

James Morrison, Sunday, 17 February 2008 06:26 (seventeen years ago)

one year passes...

He's back!:

A: We're not on the air yet, are we? I never believe anything in the world of entertainment until it actually happens and the check clears the bank. I've had a gentleman's bet with my crew that these shows would never air.

Originally, the show was going to show both sides of the conspiracy. But the show then evolved while we were doing it, because it's very difficult to show both sides when one side won't cooperate at all.

Q: Then how can you be sure the side that does cooperate isn't just a bunch of crackpots?

A: I'm not sure. But how can I be sure the government's not?

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 24 November 2009 21:52 (fifteen years ago)

four years pass...

all over the map as usual, but anyway

What kinds of things are you discussing on your show that you think aren’t getting discussed on shows in the U.S.?

Well, one of the things was the arrogance and the hypocrisy of Barack Obama and George Bush going to the funeral of Nelson Mandela. Astounding to me …

Because Mandela was a political prisoner held in isolation and tortured all these years, and both of these presidents do that to people. They put them in prison, they torture them, and they hold them with no lawyers or court date — identical to what they did to Nelson Mandela. How dare they go there and honor this man, when they’re doing to people exactly what was done to Mandela?
