Ned Trifle II, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 16:22 (eighteen years ago)

love what it did with Frankenstein thing.
One time they did a little Erice retro at the Walter Reade at Lincoln Center and he was there to introduce espiritu. I saw him coming out as I was going into the next movie, El Sur, I think, but saw a guy I knew coming out also and I asked him what the guy said. He said "he said when they were interviewing for the part of the girls he asked Ana Torrent 'Do you know who Dr. Frankenstein is?' and she responded 'Yes I do, but we haven't been introduced yet.'"

James Redd and the Blecchs, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 16:24 (eighteen years ago)

Ha! Nice - I really like Erice's 'Quince Tree Sun' as well.

Honorable mention to Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown, in which they dub a movie, said movie being Johnny Guitar.

Honorable mention to watching the educational film in the Griffith Observatory in Rebel Without A Cause.

I feel like there is a movie in which somebody watches Vertigo, but I can't remember what it was.

James Redd and the Blecchs, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 17:02 (eighteen years ago)

sexyDancer, Wednesday, 6 February 2008 17:03 (eighteen years ago)

can't remember if anyone goes to the cinema in Fellini's 8 1/2.

Errol Morris' "The Thin Blue Line":

Part of Randall Adams' alibi is that he was watching "The Swinging Cheerleaders" at a drive-in, which is eerily re-enacted.
